College Books Direct
NOOKcolor, where do I get books for it?
I do not own any ereader and as christmas is approaching my spouse wants to get me the nook. So i’ve watched videos on youtube about nook vs kindle and i’ve learned alot but none of the videos where direct on HOW and WHERE I can get books for the nook. I know it is wifi and 3G enabled but am I to assume that I can only buy books while in a Barnes and Noble store? Or can I buy them from home, or any other wifi spot I am at?
Also, how is the nook with college text books. I’m going to be starting college next year and would like to use an ereader insteader of carrying books around. I know the kindle is already good with getting college text books but how is the nook with college text books?
If you’re looking to get ebooks for free for limited time you can check out ebooks from you local public library’s Overdrive website. You can also check the general Overdrive website and search for ebooks and then put in your zip code to see if any libraries near you have that ebook available for check out. You can also get free ebooks from Barnes & Noble’s website by choosing “free NOOKbooks” from the NOOKbooks menu. Try a Google search for free ebooks too. Sadly the NOOK and the NOOKcolor do not work with the NOOKstudy etextbook application at the moment.
