I had a redish brown Jasper Stone, that some how turned Black can anyone tell me how or why? please….?

ok thanks, i don’t think it would have anything to do with evil… it’s been in my room for the past 7 months while i was overseas… i only got back now and saw it… so no evil… sorry guys… but thanks anyways…
